A superseded model retires on a published date and then answers 410 naming its successor — never silently rewritten to another model.
Routed by delivered cost
Healthy lanes are ranked by one cost scalar; the provider behind a response is never named, and a warm session stays on its lane while its cache lives.
A data policy per request
Standard (no training), ZDR or training — and the same request through Chat Completions, Messages or Responses is accounted identically.
