Storage keeps files in **Buckets** you own. Each bucket is its own object store, with versions, retention, multipart uploads and private objects by default; `:connect` returns its endpoint and its own engine credentials, which your app uses to read and write objects.

## Where it is served

Storage is served by Sylphx Data on the one API. Every call is
under `https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/{org}/projects/{project}/envs/{env}/`
and takes a Sylphx key with the scope its method names in the API reference
([keys and scopes](/docs/platform/keys-and-scopes)).

## The resources

| Collection | What it is |
| --- | --- |
| [buckets](/docs/api/buckets) | A Bucket is one customer object store: bytes, size, and SHA-256 kept exact, with versions, delete markers, retention, multipart, and per-object visibility (private by default). |

Each link opens the collection's methods, with the path, scope, request,
response and examples of every call.
