The `service_observations` commands of Sylphx Hosting, as the CLI spells them: the same
calls as [the `service_observations` API page](/docs/api/service_observations), typed for the
shell. [Install, sign in and the grammar](/docs/cli) are on the CLI index.

## get

Reads readiness without invoking or waking a service.

**`NAME`** — the resource's name; a bare id is enough below the linked
project.

**CLI**

```bash
sylphx hosting service-observations get orgs/acme/projects/shop/envs/production/service_observations/service-observation
```

`GET https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/acme/projects/shop/envs/production/service_observations/service-observation` · scope `hosting:read` · effect `read` · [Request, response and examples](/docs/api/service_observations/get)

## probe

Performs one safe same-environment transport observation. Unlike a readiness read, this explicitly requested HTTP instrument may activate an idle service. No caller credential is forwarded to the workload.

**`NAME`** — the resource's name; a bare id is enough below the linked
project.

**CLI**

```bash
sylphx hosting service-observations probe orgs/acme/projects/shop/envs/production/service_observations/service-observation
```

`POST https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/acme/projects/shop/envs/production/service_observations/service-observation:probe` · scope `hosting:read` · effect `read` · [Request, response and examples](/docs/api/service_observations/probe)

**Flags**

| Flag | Type | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `--method` | `string` | GET or HEAD; defaults to HEAD. |
| `--path` | `string` | Canonical safe path; defaults to /healthz. |
| `--expect-status` | `int` | Allowed statuses; defaults to 200 through 299. Repeat the flag for each value. |
| `--expect-body` | `string` | Bounded literal body assertion for GET. |
| `--timeout` | `duration` | 1, 2, 5 or 10 seconds; defaults to 10 seconds. |
