The `artifacts` commands of Sylphx Artifacts, as the CLI spells them: the same
calls as [the `artifacts` API page](/docs/api/artifacts), typed for the
shell. [Install, sign in and the grammar](/docs/cli) are on the CLI index.

## get

Gets an artifact.

**`NAME`** — the resource's name; a bare id is enough below the linked
project.

**CLI**

```bash
sylphx artifacts artifacts get orgs/acme/projects/shop/artifacts/artifact
```

`GET https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/acme/projects/shop/artifacts/artifact` · scope `artifacts:read` · effect `read` · [Request, response and examples](/docs/api/artifacts/get)

## list

Lists a project's artifacts; filter by `digest`, `kind`, or `subject`.

**`PARENT`** — optional: the CLI fills it from the linked project or the
key's scope when it is left out.

**CLI**

```bash
sylphx artifacts artifacts list orgs/acme/projects/shop
```

`GET https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/acme/projects/shop/artifacts` · scope `artifacts:read` · effect `read` · [Request, response and examples](/docs/api/artifacts/list)

**Flags**

| Flag | Type | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `--page-size` | `int` | At most this many; default 50, clamped to 1000. |
| `--page-token` | `string` | `next_page_token` of the previous page. |
| `--filter` | `string` | AIP-160 filter over labels and filterable fields. |
| `--order-by` | `string` | AIP-132 ordering over filterable fields. |

## create

Registers an artifact whose bytes were pushed by digest; verification runs after.

**`ID`** — The id segment of the new Resource's name; the server assigns one when omitted.

**CLI**

```bash
sylphx artifacts artifacts create --parent orgs/acme/projects/shop --digest … --kind image --media-type … --size-bytes 1
```

`POST https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/acme/projects/shop/artifacts` · scope `artifacts:write` · effect `write` · [Request, response and examples](/docs/api/artifacts/create)

**Flags**

| Flag | Type | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `--parent` | `string` | The parent to create in; defaults to the linked project or the key's scope. |
| `--meta.labels` | `key=value` | Caller-writable, indexed labels (AIP-122 label rules). Repeat the flag for each value. |
| `--meta.annotations` | `key=value` | Caller-writable, unindexed annotations. Repeat the flag for each value. |
| `--meta.display-name` | `string` | Caller-writable human-readable name. |
| `--digest` | `string` | The algorithm-qualified digest of the stored bytes, for example `sha256:4f1c…`. Required. |
| `--kind` | `enum` | What the Artifact is. Required. One of `image`, `sbom`, `provenance`, `signature`, `bundle`. |
| `--media-type` | `string` | The media type, for example `application/vnd.oci.image.manifest.v1+json`. Required. |
| `--size-bytes` | `int` | The size of the stored bytes. Required. |
| `--subject` | `string` | The Artifact this one describes, for an SBOM, provenance, or signature. |
| `--source-digests` | `string` | Digests of the sources and inputs that produced it. Repeat the flag for each value. |
| `--retention` | `enum` | How long the Artifact is kept. One of `standard`, `referenced`. |
| `--dry-run` | `bool` | Validate and print the result without writing (validate_only). |

## delete

Deletes an artifact; fails while a Release references it or a legal hold is active.

**`NAME`** — the resource's name; a bare id is enough below the linked
project.

**CLI**

```bash
sylphx artifacts artifacts delete orgs/acme/projects/shop/artifacts/artifact --yes
```

`DELETE https://api.sylphx.com/v1/orgs/acme/projects/shop/artifacts/artifact` · scope `artifacts:write` · effect `destructive` · [Request, response and examples](/docs/api/artifacts/delete)

**Flags**

| Flag | Type | What it does |
| --- | --- | --- |
| `--etag` | `string` | Delete only if the current etag matches. |
| `--dry-run` | `bool` | Validate and print the result without writing (validate_only). |
| `--yes` | `bool` | Do not ask before this destructive call. |
